About Us

Hi, I’m Bree - Founder of Libra VA Services, where we make your To-Do List our To-Do List!

After more than a decade working in senior administrative roles across Higher Education and the Not-for-Profit sector, I saw the same story play out again and again - brilliant, passionate people weighed down by admin, stuck in the day-to-day, and running out of time for the work (and life) they truly love.

In 2021, I decided to change that and founded Libra VA Services - a virtual assistant business built to help small business owners get organised, stay on top of things, and find more balance in their week.

Since then, Libra VA Services has grown into a trusted team of experienced virtual assistants who support clients across:

  • Admin & PA support – inboxes, scheduling, and day-to-day organisation

  • Finance admin – invoicing, expenses, and the numbers side of business

  • Event management – planning and coordinating smooth, stress-free events

  • Social media management – creating and scheduling consistent, engaging content

  • Website support – keeping your site updated and running beautifully

  • Notion setup & systems – bringing structure and calm to your business operations

Our goal is simple: to help you get more done, with less stress.

We believe small business owners deserve to feel in control, supported, and a little more free - whether that means finally tackling that growing to-do list, spending more time on creative work, or just enjoying a proper lunch break.

Hire us to assist you with the time-consuming tasks and we will give you back your most valuable asset - your time.

By providing you with remote support, we can save you time, money and stress. You delegate the tasks on your to-do list to us, freeing up your time to focus on the things you really enjoy.

And the best part? You can hire us for as little or as much time as you need, as a one-off or on a retainer (if you have recurring tasks that need done monthly).

My Master’s degree in International Development led me to discover my interest in forced migration. Over the last decade, I've explored this by volunteering with a range of refugee charities, including the Refugee Support Network and CARAS (Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers), and by meeting weekly with young asylum seekers to offer support and help build confidence in English.

My voluntary work has some parallels with my professional career in the sense that at the very core it is about building trust and connections with people from different cultural backgrounds. Something which has been vital in the sectors I've worked in over the last ten years.

I've worked at LSE, Birkbeck College and the University of Greenwich as a Senior Administrator. Several of my roles have been student-facing, where I have overseen the annual cycle of tasks and processes that underpin programmes, including managing course choice processes, the annual timetabling review, consolidating assessment marks and feedback for students, and managing exam boards. I have experience organising a range of events, including high-level conferences and leading the organisation of Welcome Week activities for students.

I have also managed a portfolio of grants for a Research Centre, amounting to over £10 million in funding, with funding bodies including the Wellcome Trust and the European Commission (Horizon 2020). At UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency, I was a Team Support Associate for the Global Goodwill Ambassador Team, working with Goodwill Ambassadors and High Profile Supporters on a range of events and campaigns to help amplify and raise awareness of refugees and the harrowing issues they face around the world. One of my highlights was working on Khaled Hosseini's book launch for Sea Prayer, an illustrated novel inspired by the Syrian refugee crisis and the death of Alan Kurdi.

Outside of work, I am a mum of three, I enjoy running, podcasts, film and meditation.
