Founded in 2021 by Bree Ngwena, we are a virtual assistant business built to help small business owners get organised, stay on top of things, and find more balance in their week.

Since then, Libra VA Services has grown into a trusted team of experienced virtual assistants who support clients across:

Meet Bree

Hi, I am Bree, Founder of Libra VA Services. My background combines people-focused work, operational leadership, and a strong belief in building trust across cultures and communities.

After completing a Master’s degree in International Development, I developed a long-standing interest in forced migration and have spent over a decade volunteering with refugee charities, including the Refugee Support Network and CARAS, supporting young asylum seekers and helping build confidence through connection and communication.

Professionally, I’ve held senior administrative roles at the London School of Economics, Birkbeck College, and the University of Greenwich, managing complex processes, student-facing programmes, large-scale events, and operational systems that keep organisations running smoothly. I’ve also managed research grant portfolios exceeding £10 million, working with funders such as the Wellcome Trust and the European Commission.

At UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency), I supported the Global Goodwill Ambassador Team, helping deliver campaigns and events to raise awareness of refugee issues worldwide - including the launch of Sea Prayer by Khaled Hosseini.

Today, my work continues to centre around people, trust, and creating calm, effective systems that help others thrive.

Outside of work, I’m a mum of three who enjoys running, podcasts, film, and meditation.

Meet Tim

Tim is our AI & Automation lead. He brings experience in analytics, automation, and systems thinking to Libra VA Services.

As a Principal Analytics Consultant and educator, he has worked with 70+ organisations to improve how they use data, streamline processes, and build scalable ways of working.

His approach is practical and grounded - focused on helping business owners understand what technology is doing for them, not confusing them with jargon.

Tim’s work at Libra VA is centred on:

  • Identifying realistic automation opportunities

  • Designing systems that support human work (not replace it)

  • Building workflows that clients fully understand and own
